Submission Process Overview
The IAC Journal Publication follows a structured and efficient review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality. Unlike traditional systems, we do not employ a Virtual Editorial Assistant (VEA); instead, our editorial team directly manages all aspects of the submission and review process.
Our streamlined approach aims to complete the review of submitted papers within a three-week timeframe.
Components of the Review Process
The review process for the IAC Journal Publication comprises three critical components:
Peer Review for Academic Quality
Initial Submission and Desk Review: Upon submission, each manuscripts undergoes a preliminary desk review to ensure it fits within the journal’s scope and meets basic quality standards. Papers are submitted through the online submission interface on the IAC Journals website (iacjournals.com).
Double-Blind Peer Review: Each article is then assigned to two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other to maintain the integrity of the review process. Authors should ensure that all identifying information is removed from the manuscript.
Reviewer Selection: Reviewers are chosen based on their expertise and availability. The editorial team maintains a database of potential reviewers to streamline this process.
Plagiarism Test
Similarity Check: All manuscripts that pass the academic review are subjected to a plagiarism test using advanced plagiarism detection software. The acceptable similarity threshold is 15%, including in-text citations and references.
Review Outcome: If a paper exceeds the similarity threshold, authors are required to revise and resubmit their work, ensuring proper citation and originality.
Proofreading Test
Language Quality Check: After a paper is accepted for its academic quality, it undergoes a thorough language review to ensure clarity and coherence. Authors are advised to have their manuscripts professionally proofread before submission.
Track Changes: A sample of the accepted paper is reviewed by language editors using track changes. If significant language errors are found, the paper is returned to the authors for further proofreading.
Review Guidelines
Review Timeline
Review Timeframe: Our target is to provide a decision within three weeks from the date of submission.
Regular Updates: Authors will be updated every week on the progress of their submission.
Inquiries: Authors are encouraged to follow up on their submissions or inquiries if they do not receive a response within 24 hours during working days.
Detailed Academic Review Process
Internal and External Reviews: Reviews can be conducted internally by Editorial Board members or externally by independent scholars with relevant expertise.
Review Form: Comments and feedback from reviewers must be provided on the journal’s Review Form. Additional comments on the manuscript are encouraged to guide authors in their revisions.
Resubmission Protocol: Authors must submit a detailed correction log outlining how each reviewer’s comments were addressed, using a two-column table format. Disagreements with reviewers’ comments should be justified in this log.
Final Approval and Publication
Editorial Decision: The editorial team reviews all feedback and decides on the final acceptance of the paper. In cases of conflicting reviews, a third reviewer may be consulted.
Pre-publication Check: Authors will receive a final PDF of their accepted article to check for errors. They have three working days to respond with corrections.
Copyright Forms: Authors must sign and return copyright forms before the layout process begins.
Copyrights
All copyrights are retained by the author(s) with first publication right granted to ECRTD. Any copyright infringement claims should be addressed to info@iacjournals.com bearing “Copyright Infringement”. A letter will be addressed to the author(s) concerned within seven days.
An Author that submitted a manuscript requesting any EA-journal to review and publish the manuscript implies that such author has granted the journal an express permission/consent to publish the manuscript without further permission/ consent from the Editor.
Authors who wish to withdraw their manuscripts must officially write to the Editor within one month of submission otherwise such manuscript will be published in future date.
